Set in the land known as King’s Round, 5 kingdoms - Avandol, Banceh, Stravat, Tunorsi, & Babish - appear to co-exist in relative peace, save the occasional skirmish. On the eve of one of these skirmishes, Emila Babish, the eldest princess and greatest warrior of her kingdom, is sent not to the battlefield, but away to the kingdom of Avandol under what her father refers to as a “diplomatic mission.” But it does not take long for Emila to realize that things are not as she believed. Trapped in a foreign land with no way to know who’s enemy & who’s ally, she must find a way home.
